On Ligovsky Prospekt, the authorities of St. Petersburg will begin a large-scale restoration of an ancient church of the XVIII century. The corresponding statement was made by the staff of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Culture, which is the customer of the project. The information is published on the official website of public procurement. 
It is known that we are talking about the restoration of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The work will cost 806.6 million rubles, and all planned activities should be completed by 2028. Officials noticed that the funds were allocated from the state budget. The documentation says that they are aimed at preserving and adapting an object of cultural heritage of federal significance to modern use.
The project includes the development of working documentation, the restoration of facades and interiors, as well as the updating of engineering systems. The work is to be carried out in the house of the XVIII–XIX centuries at the address: St. Petersburg, Ligovsky Prospekt, 128, letter A. Officials intend to restore the historical appearance of the building. Additionally, the specialists will strengthen the supporting structures and modernize the internal communications of the church while preserving the architectural features.
