On 25 January, representatives of the Moscow City Property Department met with Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) officials to discuss the best ways for the city to facilitate the transfer of property and real estate to the Church for its ambitious building projects, while also minimizing the risk of lawsuits and claims after the fact, and general streamlining of procedures.

It is hoped that such meetings will make it even easier for the Church to accomplish its lofty goal of building 200 Churches in Moscow.

It is wonderful to see the goodwill of the Moscow government in reaching out to assist the Church in its mission to provide places of worship and other services to Moscow's ever-growing population. One can only imagine the furore that would be raised in any modern western city if derelict buildings and unimproved empty lots were given over to the construction of churches or charitable institutions, like soup kitchens or homeless shelters, if they were operated by the Church, especially in the light of recent efforts to actively de-Christianize meeting spaces, like the demonic action of the anti-Christian German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who also recently claimed Germany was in a state or war with Russia, much to the chagrin of the rest of her government and the West in general.

Meanwhile, symphonia, or blessed co-operation reigns in Russia between the ROC and the secular authorities and shows no signs of letting up or slowing down.
