Hierarchs of the Russian and Serbian Churches celebrated the Liturgy in Buenos Aires

On December 3, the feast day of the temple in honor of Saint Prince Alexander Nevsky in Buenos Aires was celebrated. According to the website of the Argentine Diocese, the Divine Liturgy was officiated by Bishop John of Caracas and South America (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia), Bishop Cyril of Buenos Aires and South-Central America (Serbian Orthodox Church), and Bishop Leonid of Argentina and South America. The archpastors were assisted by the Secretary of the Argentine Diocese, Archpriest Sergey Yurin, as well as clerics serving in the temples of the Argentine capital.

The religious service was attended by Jorge Daniel Stockland, the General Director of the State Administration of Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Argentine Republic, Russian diplomats, and parishioners of the temple.

Bishop Leonid of Argentina and South America addressed the believers with archpastoral words, wishing all the participants of the celebration "the same strong faith that Alexander Nevsky had, hope in God and His Providence, love for their homeland, and zealous service to the Church wherever we may be."
