On August 29, Bishop Job of Stuttgart, vicar of the German Diocese, arrived in the United States to venerate the relics of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) and participate in celebrations at the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, New York. This trip is also connected to the production of a new documentary film focused on the restoration of the historic building of the Hierarchical Synod in New York, as reported by the website of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.

The historic building of the Hierarchical Synod of ROCOR is located in Manhattan, New York (75 East 93rd Street, near Central Park). This early 20th-century mansion was purchased by émigrés in 1950 to house the Synodal residence and the Znamensky Cathedral. It holds the main relics of the ROCOR, including the Korennaya-Kursk Icon of the Mother of God "The Sign," the Shroud of the Mother of God, and the relics of saints.

The building became the center of church life for the Russian émigré community, managing ROCOR parishes worldwide. However, over time, the house fell into disrepair and required major renovations. In recent years, ROCOR has begun a phased restoration: reinforcing the foundation, updating the facade, replacing the roof, and refurbishing the interior, including the home church of Saint Sergius of Radonezh in the basement.

The films being produced by Bishop Job serve as a documentary chronicle of this restoration. Two films have already been released, and a third is in progress, focusing on how the building is regaining its original appearance and continues to serve as the spiritual and administrative center of ROCOR in the U.S.

Bishop Job arrived in New York with the miraculous Korennaya-Kursk Icon of the Mother of God "The Sign" and visited the Synodal residence, where he met with the First Hierarch, Metropolitan Nikolai. He then participated in festive services at the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, the spiritual center of ROCOR and the largest Russian Orthodox monastery in America.

Founded in the 1930s, the Holy Trinity Monastery has played a significant role in preserving the spiritual heritage of the Russian émigration and remains a vital center for theological scholarship, spiritual education, and monastic life. It was here that Metropolitan Laurus (†2008), the First Hierarch of ROCOR, served for many years, during which the reunion with the Moscow Patriarchate took place.
