A demonstration in support of persecuted clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) took place in the Slovak capital, Bratislava. Protesters gathered outside the Ukrainian embassy, demanding the release of imprisoned clergy and Orthodox journalists. According to the Telegram channel "First Cossack," this was not the first such demonstration.

Participants called on foreign leaders to influence Ukrainian authorities to end the persecution of believers. They also demanded the return of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and other holy sites seized by nationalists and schismatics, and the release of Metropolitan Arseniy of the Sviatohirsk Lavra and Orthodox journalists detained a month ago following a raid on the "Union of Orthodox Journalists" office.

The protest was organized by Ukrainian refugees and emigrants, parishioners of St. Rostislav and St. Nicholas Cathedrals. The demonstration also received support from clergy and laity of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia. The first such protest in Bratislava took place on May 9. Organizers have announced their intention to continue holding similar actions.
