Many of our readers will by now be familiar with the 200 Churches Project being carried out in the Moscow region as a partnership between the Russian Orthodox Church and the City of Moscow in a splendid display of unity of purpose and co-operation between the secular and ecclesiastical authorities in modern Russia.

Some of these new churches have already been built, and others are in various stages of completion. But today, we wished to present to our readers a selection from thirty six new ideas for temples yet to be built under the plan for them to consider and enjoy. These conceptual renders are intended to be a guide to the finished building. More information on can be found in links in the captions, in Russian. Enjoy.

I sincerely thank all of you for praying for me. I know that this prayer is daily, the whole Church prays, and, probably, without this prayer it would be impossible to carry out the Patriarchal ministry. But when they pray for me on this day, a personal day, with which the very appearance of a person in life is connected, then, I think, this prayer is heard by the Lord, and help is poured out on the one for whom they pray. And through those present here, I thank all of you now, my dear bishops, fathers, brothers and sisters, who today, all over the face of our earth, in all the fullness of our Church, have been offering up prayers for the Patriarch.
