Acts 2:38-43; Jn. 3:1-15

Precious is the work of those who use reason to defeat the lie mounting against the truth of the Resurrection.  Read these works, arm yourself with their reasoning, ─ but make sure to allow ever more space for the power of Christ’s Resurrection within yourself.  The more space you give it, the cleaner will be the air of the Resurrection which you will breathe, and stronger will be your defense against attacks of the enemy.

What do you need for this?  Nothing special: just live your life the way you ought to live by the covenant with the Lord which you entered when you were baptized, the covenant of our resurrection.  Have you renounced Satan and all his works? ─ keep on this way.  Have you united yourself with Christ? ─ stay with Him.   The works of darkness and light are evident: evade the former and stick to the latter.  But don’t allow yourself any tradeoffs, even the smallest, ─ and the norm of your life will be as follows: no communion of light with darkness, no concord of Christ with Belial [2Cor. 6:14-15].
